Okay so my blog is probably at the bottom of everyone's list. . . yes I know, my last post was months ago. I promise I will get better at blogging (I really mean it this time). My goal for the new year approaching is to BLOG more than once every five months. I love digital scrapbooking, but it's too time consuming. Therefore, at the end of 2012, I want to print my blog for a scrapbook. Brilliant, right?! (Thanks Mom and Shaley for this wonderful idea) See, so now there's motivation to keep up to date with my blog!

Since I graduated in April, life has been insanely busy! Wedding planning kept me super busy for the first half of the summer and life seems to only get busier! Our wedding day in July was perfect!! And our honeymoon to Kauai, Hawaii was fabulous!

In September Adam and I went to Boston for a week- so fun! During that week we also visited DC, Baltimore, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine- gorgeous places, great vacation week! Since then it's been a whole lot of school and work for Adam. He's working full-time and going to school full-time, so he's super busy. As for me, I'm working full-time as well. Recently I started working at Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital- I work with patients struggling with addictions, behavioral, and/or emotional problems. It's been a great experience so far. . . my co-workers are great and the patients we work with everyday enlighten me. You can learn a lot from those less fortunate.

Time continues to fly by! It's hard to believe Adam and I have already been married for 4 months! Adjusting to newlywed life so far has been what I expected and anticipated it to be- a lot of fun! Of course, we've had some fights (like when I got bugged at him for placing his dirty socks RIGHT BY the laundry basket instead of INSIDE the basket, or when he used the decorative bathroom towels instead of the non-decorative towels). Ha ha. So far, though, it's been a great ride:)

Our first 4 months of marriage (what I will always remember):
- Smoothies
- Homemade french fries
- Popcorn
- the gym
- Temple date night
- Sunday mornings- me, Adam, and Ayden all getting ready for church (Just a wonderful feeling. We love our weekends with Ayden).
- Sunday walks
- massage coupons
-Creamy chicken & broccoli over rice
- Never getting to bed before 1am (I get up at 5:30am for work and Adam gets up at 6:30am for work. Recently we've made it a goal to get to bed by 10pm, hasn't happened yet).
- Nightime prayers followed by a kiss and hug goodnight.
- shopping
- our 1st birthday's with each other
- My Birthday coupon book Adam made me (my husband is hilarious!!!).
- Talks about our future "baby girl." Whenever we talk about the future and starting our family we always automatically (without even thinking about it) say "she" this and "she" that. haha I don't know why we always assume our first baby is going to be a girl. I will be happy for a boy or girl:)
- weekends with family and friends
- me wanting the heater turned up, Adam wanting the heater turned down.
- sitting across the table from each other, both with our laptops (Adam doing homework, and me doing digital scrapbooking:)
- who can text each other first in the morning to say I love you and to have a good day:)
- sportscenter
- chatting with Adam in the bathroom while he shaves his face (haha I've always loved watching him shave, lol, I just think it's cute. Even when we dated I would watch him shave).
- me leaving the trash by the front door for Adam to take it out, in which created a big stain on our carpet because it sat there for a few hours (I should have noticed there was liquids in the bag).

Anyways, the list could go on!:) I hope everyone is doing well! I'm sure everyone is getting just as excited for the Holidays as we are! I can't wait for Adam to be done with classes and to spend time with family!

So much has happened since I last blogged! I met my soon-to-be husband this past semester! My sister, Audrey, had a baby girl- Kinleigh And my sister, Ami, is having a baby girl very soon! I finished my last semester at UVU! I graduated in April, yay! I’m getting married in July! We got Adam (my fiance) all moved in to our new place in Pleasant Grove. I moved out of the townhouse I was living in and I’m living with my sister, Kelly, until the wedding:) Lots and lots to look forward to! My summer so far has consisted of wedding planning, watching Adam play ball, a trip to Lagoon with the fam, Ami’s baby shower, the Red Rock Relay in Moab, a trip to St.George, sand volleyball, and Kinleigh’s baby blessing. We’re super busy but we're having a lot of fun! I love summertime!:)

Wow, it has been forever since I have blogged! Goodness time flies! I can’t believe a whole summer and semester has come and gone since I last blogged! I guess I will just highlight a few of the things that have happened since I last blogged in May.

* At the end of August I returned to school. Therefore, I had to say goodbye to the baby boy and family I was a Nanny for over the summer. And then in October they moved to Maryland, so I don’t get to see them anymore. They are such a wonderful family. Thank you Heather and Derrick for everything. I think of you guys often and miss you and “our little man”:)

I don't have any pics of Heather and Derrick (as much time as I spent with this family during the summer you'd think I would, I know. So these are older pics off facebook). They are such a cute couple. I hope my future husband and I have the kind of relationship that they have:)

* This past summer my twin sister, Kelly, and I got into running! Over the summer we ran in three 5k’s and two 10k’s. Who ever said running can’t be fun?! We loved it! This coming Spring/Summer we want to run our first half marathon:)

School has been out for a few weeks now; I am loving the time off! For the summer I am living with my sister, Kelly, in Provo. I love having company around all the time and living with my 1-year-old niece! She is a doll!

I am into my third week of nannying a 4-month-old baby boy, Bradley. He is such a good baby, and the family is great! I love it!! I am also working a couple shifts a week at a treatment center for girls. I am really enjoying this, too!

This past Saturday, my sister, Kelly, and I ran our first 5k. It was a lot of fun! We did better than we expected! We now want to do a 10k:)

Hey everyone! So... as I've mentioned before, I am a horrible blogger. Sorry, I'm just really busy with school and work and haven't taken the time to update. All is well though and I am looking forward to fall break this week, when I'll get a good break from school and work!:) I don't have recent pictures to post so this post might be a little boring. However, I do want to share thoughts from a book titled, "She" that I read the other day. First off, who is She? Well, there are many ways to describe a woman. Daughter, mother, sister, wife, friend, student. But the following thoughts are not about titles or roles, they are about the spirit and heart!:) They are not about fame or praise, they are about caring and accomplishment! I'm sure we can all think of someone that we feel so lucky and blessed to have in our life... and maybe the following passages from this book will make you think of her:) Love you all!

Thursday I drove down to Monticello with Audrey, Jonathon, and Alexis. Friday my little brother, Derek, and I went river rafting down the Colordado River with all the family on my Dad's side; it was tons of fun! Yesterday morning we went to the parade. In the afternoon I went to my friend (Natalie's) baby shower. The rest of the day was spent with family, then later on we watched the fireworks. Today we're heading back up North...then Tuesday I'll be leaving for Lake Powell for 5 days!

Hey everyone! So, it's been a while since I posted something...I know, I don't do too well with blogging. But it's 1:00am and my roommate, Erin, isn't ready for bed...So, I'll post a few pictures since it looks like our bedroom light is going to be on for a while:) ...This past week I went camping with Erin and some of her family. I love camping! We had a lot of fun. Also, you may notice that all the photo’s only consist of me and Erin…Erin’s cousin and family were also there, but they didn’t want photo’s of the kids online.

So, I decided I'd let Erin drive. But, I should have known that would end bad;) She decided to drive into a puddle of mud...but then slowed down in the middle of it because she didn't want to splash mud. Little did she know that she'd get us stuck...And in the end we'd end up covered in mud! :)

So, here's Erin trying to pull from the front of the 4wheeler saying, "Push on the gas!" My reply to her was, "I'll run you over!" She then realized that wasn't a good idea.

So, are you wondering how we got unstuck? Well, the strongest one of us (me) had to push it out...while Erin sat on the 4wheeler in reverse.

When we got back to camp...Erin's cousin, Todd, laughed at us and then asked us, "Why didn't you just put it in 4 wheel drive?" I don't know why I didn't think of that!

While trying to lift off the dutch oven lid to check on the cobbler...I accidentally dropped the pliers in the fire! It took us a while to get them out. Lets just say they weren't as nice looking as they used to be.

Well, I couldn't think of a better way to start off my summer vacation than to go visit my sister, Kelly, and my adorable niece; so Wednesday after taking my last final I drove to Ticaboo to spend a couple days with my them! Nicole is now 4 months old; they grow so fast!!

As for me...I'm just waiting for the semester to end (just under 2 weeks left, yay!) I'll remain in Provo over the summer. I Cut My Hair!

Hey everyone! Just saying hi and quickly updating: I'm back in the swing of school, therefore, I'm swamped with homework of course. I'm starting to do volunteer hours as well at Summit High School (a school for at risk students). I'm tutoring & mentoring there, for one of my Social Work classes. Along with school, I'm busy with work and the other things of life. So just as everyone- I'm really busy. However, I'm doing well and life is good:) Also, today I noticed its been about a week since I cut my hair! (I was hesitant to chop off my long hair, but decided I wanted a change, so I did it (7 inches!)...And I didn't have any pics of it, so this morning before going out the door I snapped a few:) P.S. Also, this past weekend I went snowboarding, up at Sundance, for the first time; it was so fun!

Merry Christmas everyone! …This year someone special arrived just in time for Christmas...my new niece, Nicole Madelyn! (Born Dec. 17th). Also everyone was able to come home this year, so I couldn’t ask for a better gift:) I’ve been home (in Monticello) for a week now, and I’ll probably be here till the end of the year. I’ll be returning to school January 7th. Hey, so I'm in Monticello for Thanksgiving! I got here yesterday and will be here till Sunday morning. I always love coming home because I can get away from the city for a few days, relax, bake, and eat lots:) This year we didn't have the whole family here but but that's ok I guess because Christmas is coming up and hopefully everyone can make it home then!

I got home (to Monticello) yesterday, and I'll be visiting the family till Sunday! My twin sister, Kelly and her husband, Chad are here, too. Today my Mom, Kelly, and I went up the mountain to take some pictures with the fall leaves; it was so pretty! (The boys didn't come with us because they're all working on putting metal roofing on our house). Kelly is 6 months pregnant...I'm sure you can tell in the pictures:) she's due January 2nd; I'm so excited! They're having a little girl and they might name her Kamille, which is my middle name!:)

A New Car. . . .Finally!!!

Its been a long 3 weeks! I went to at least 15 dealerships, looked online almost every night, and even checked out a couple cars that individual's were selling, too. I was a bit picky in my selection (sort of like I am with men:) but who wouldn't be? I'm going to be with the car for a long time. There were several times I was about to buy a car but I always felt that I should keep looking, whether because the car was too expensive or because it just wasn't what I wanted to put money towards. Then I had a lucky day- I met with an individual owner to test drive a Mazda 6 and after my uncle and I took it to a mechanic to look it over inside and out, I decided that it was perfect! However, I'm still not quite sure about the color, it is quite RED! oh well it will grow on me. I'm just glad that the search is over and I'm happy with what I've ended up with.

I was in a car accident on August 29th. I was just driving down the street, when all of a sudden, a lady (in a volks wagon) pulls out from a gas station (before looking both ways!) I didn't have any time to stop before I slammed right into her. Her vehicle went flying across the street while I spun around, and ended up on the other side of the road. Luckily, neither of us were hurt. Unfortunately, though, my car was totalled. Very sad, but what do you do?!?!

I made a quick trip down to Ticaboo to visit the family! We had lots of fun together! We spent most of our time at the lake.

Before I left Ticaboo on Monday, we decided to go out to the lake again. But this time, instead of the whole family, it was just me, kelly, and her husband, Chad. It was nice to have the tube all to ourselves!!
